          Monroe NC Garden Club            "Growing Green, Staying Green"



The Monroe Garden Club, founded in 1950 has been active in the community for over 70 years.  Together with the businesses and City of Monroe, we have been able to build a community teaching garden, as well as, host hundreds of meetings educating multi-generations about plants, gardens and the way they add to and enrich our lives.

Today with over 40 members, we continue the long-standing tradition of "Leaping into Action" through gardening.  Growing Forward Together with Monroe and the surrounding communities and "Going Green and Staying Green" for the generations to come.
